We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you register on our platform. This includes:

• For Agents: Name, mobile number, profile picture, and financial/KYC details (Bank Name, A/C Number, IFSC, UPI ID) for commission payouts.
• For Colleges: Institute name, official email, contact details, address, and logo.
• For Students: When an agent submits an admission, we collect the student's name, mobile number, address, and fee payment proof (UTR/Screenshot).

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

• To facilitate and verify student admissions between Agents and Colleges.
• To process commission splits (40% to Agent, 60% to EduConnect).
• To manage the prepaid wallet system for Colleges.
• To generate official Partner ID cards for Agents.
• To send notifications regarding admission status and payout approvals.

EduConnect does not sell your data. However, data is shared between specific roles within the platform:

• Student details submitted by an Agent are shared with the respective College for verification.
• Agent names and IDs are visible to Colleges to identify the source of the lead.
• We may disclose information if required by law to comply with legal obligations.

We implement industry-standard security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information. All passwords are encrypted using secure hashing algorithms (Bcrypt). Financial transactions and wallet balances are monitored through strict ledger logs to prevent fraud.

We use session cookies to keep you logged in and to track your preferences within the dashboard. You can choose to disable cookies in your browser settings, but it may affect the functionality of the platform.
